Community

Nance giving chair massage
Yesterday was a great day! It started out with a trip to St John’s in Old Bisbee to participate in the monthly alternative health fair.  Jolene and I go every month and this time she was open to talking about receiving a Reiki attunment to level I Reiki sometime this coming summer. She is 11 and this is a big step for her, she is normally very helpful and loves to get her monthly Reiki treatment at the clinic and always requests a chair massage from Nance; and now she wants to share Reiki with others as a practitioner too. How cool is that!

As I normally do I offered my services to those who come at no charge to them… it is my way of giving back to the community in a way that is of service to those who want healing and I get to meet and hang out with some of the neatest people in the area.

Normally I offer Reiki and intuitive insight when I am there, and I work with a variety of wonderful healers, but yesterday I found myself working exclusively with Patricia Worth, who was offering foot reflexology. Her energy is wonderful to work with and really helped to ground the energy through our clients. Thanks Patricia you really make it easy to help others!

I also talked at some length to several others about working together to bring community together through healing and ritual.  This is something this area used to be really great at, coming together for the good of all, in the community of Spirit and divine healing of each other and the Earth. I am looking forward to allowing this to reemerge in my experience with others.

Later in the day we went back to Old Bisbee with Chris to partake of the Chocolate tasting event in town at Central, School. This event is held each year and the proceeds go to support the Copper Queen Library. Not only did we each sample some of the best chocolate, Jolene and I made chocolate chip, marshmallow brownies with chili hot fudge sauce poured over the top, for the event this year.

After the chocolate tasting we all headed over to the new shop on Subway street (Hydra) where Chris found himself a summer motorcycle jacket, it is a beautiful red and has Gold Wing embroidered across the back in a golden taupe color, (just like the color of his Gold Wing) then it was off to the Howard Kline gallery on main street to celebrate their grand opening.

All in all it was a great day!

Have a Wicked Good Day!
Molly
